Teachers Continuous Professional Development Program Launched in Telangana through TheTeacherApp

Hyderabad, 9 June 2026: Bharti Airtel Foundation, in collaboration with the Telangana Recognised School Managements Association (TRSMA), launched the Teachers Continuous Professional Development Program through TheTeacherApp at Sujatha High School, Gunfoundry, Hyderabad.


The program aims to strengthen continuous professional development opportunities for teachers across TRSMA member schools by providing access to high-quality learning resources, expert-led training, and technology-enabled teaching support.


The launch was held in the presence of  Shri K. Lingaiah, Director of Open Schools, BSE (FAC), Telangana, along with Shri S. Madhusudhan, State President; TRSMA, Shri N. Ramesh Rao, State General Secretary, TRSMA and other dignitaries.


Through TheTeacherApp, teachers will gain access to self-paced professional development courses, expert-led webinars, AI-powered tools for generating lesson plans and assessments, and a repository of classroom resources including question banks and misconception documents. The platform also provides opportunities for teachers to engage with a wider professional learning community and receive recognition for their contributions.

Lingaiah, Director of Open Schools, BSE (FAC), Telangana, said, “Continuous professional development is essential for enabling teachers to respond to the evolving needs of learners and classrooms. Initiatives such as TheTeacherApp provide teachers with access to relevant learning resources, innovative pedagogical practices, and technology-enabled support that can contribute significantly to improving the quality of education across schools.”

Madhusudhan, State President, TRSMA, said, “This collaboration will benefit thousands of teachers across TRSMA member schools by providing continuous learning opportunities, access to AI-enabled tools, and a professional platform to showcase their achievements. We are confident that empowered teachers will contribute significantly to improved learning outcomes for students.”
